How roles are assigned

  • When you create an organization, you become the Org Admin
  • When you invite someone, you choose their role
  • Org-level roles (Org Admin) grant access across all teams in the organization
  • Team-level roles (Team Admin, Member, Viewer) are scoped to a specific team
  • A user can have different roles on different teams
