ChatGPT connects to the hosted OnePerfectSlice server as a custom connector. Sign-in happens in your browser via OAuth — there’s nothing to install.
Adding a custom MCP connector requires Developer Mode, available on paid plans (Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, Edu) and currently in beta. On Team/Enterprise/Edu, an admin may need to enable connectors for the workspace first.

Connect

1

Enable Developer Mode

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer Mode. This unlocks adding custom MCP servers with full tool access.
2

Add a custom connector

Back in Settings → Apps & Connectors, choose Create / Add custom connector and enter:
  • Name: OnePerfectSlice
  • MCP server URL: https://mcp.oneperfectslice.ai/mcp
3

Authenticate

When prompted, sign in to OnePerfectSlice and select the team whose data this connection should access. ChatGPT completes the OAuth flow and connects.
4

Use it

Enable the OnePerfectSlice connector in a chat (via the + / apps & connectors menu in the composer), then ask it to list your slices.

Test it

In a chat with the connector enabled, try:
Use OnePerfectSlice to list available slices
You should get back a list of your team’s slices.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
No “custom connector” optionTurn on Developer Mode under Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings (Team/Enterprise/Edu may need an admin to enable connectors)
Connector won’t authorizeRe-run the sign-in and complete both login and team selection
Wrong team’s dataRemove the connector, re-add it, and select a different team
Tools not available in chatEnable the connector from the chat’s tools/connectors menu

Switching teams

Each connection is scoped to one team. To switch, remove the connector and add it again, selecting the new team during sign-in.
